A Russell Farmers Ltd was founded by farm hand Albert Russell in 1933. His aim was to grow and sell fresh produce to support the local community during WWII. Ever since, the company has grown in strength and gone on to become one of the most trusted potato and fresh vegetable suppliers in the South East and the surrounding counties.
Our family-run business specialises in the wholesale of potatoes to the retail industry including fish and chip shops, kebab shops, takeaways, pubs and restaurants. We also sell high quality potato seeds to the horticultural trade. Based in Romford, Essex, our produce is available to businesses across the South East, the UK and Europe.

David Russell
Owner & Managing Director
David is the grandson of Albert Russell the founder of the company and son of Bernard. He has worked within the industry for over 40 years and built a wealth of knowledge in this time.
David also manages the Export side of the business.
Daniel Russell
Director and Head of Operations
Daniel is a fourth generation family member with a background in general farming and engineering.
Daniel has experience and involvement in all areas of the business.
Lloyd Russell
Director and Head of Sales
Lloyd is a fourth generation family member and has established the companies Fish & Chip Shop & Restaurant supply chain over his time at the company. Lloyd also works directly with Farmers to get the best potatoes available throughout the year.

At A Russell Farmers we know the difference that the humble spud can make to a meal. We grow a range of varieties including nadines, estimas, golden wonder’s and everything in between.
